Ask for bassinets when traveling with an infant

baby-bassinets-in-flightTraveling with infants is always a challenge especially because there is no travel fees for infants and hence airlines do not provide a seat for infants. Good news is you can ask for baby bassinets, cradle, cots or carrycot, whatever you like to call them, while on board.

Most of the airlines provide these with no extra fees on long haul flights. Only problem is they have limited number of baby cradles, so making a request while booking your flight is always a good idea. These cradles can be used while the seat belt signs are off. This way your infant will be comfortable in their baby cradle and you will have free arms and lap for more comfortable flight.
